How to add extensions to student Chromebooks

If you didn't know, Claymont organizes a collection of extensions for students to download to help them throughout the school day. Follow these instructions if you need an extension downloaded to a student Chromebook:

(Note: these instructions only need to be followed once. Afterwards, the extension should stay permanently installed on the student devices)

1. Turn the student device on and log the student in
2. Head to the Claymont web page and click "Student Resources" on the left hand side of the page, this should open up the student's Clever dashboard
3. From there, scroll down to the "District Links" section and click on "Chrome Web Store." Alternatively, you can click this link and it should take you directly to the page you need to be at
4. On the new page, it should show all the extensions that we currently allow students to download. You should be able to choose whatever extension you want by clicking on it
5. Once you choose whatever extension you want, you only need to click the blue "Add to Chrome" button in the top right corner to add the extension to the student's device
