How to fix students not showing up in GoGuardian

First, make sure that the student is added correctly in your Google Classroom, synced over to GoGuardian, and that you do not have any ad-blockers enabled. If you are sure all of that is correct, follow the instructions below:




Follow these steps to remove a Chrome profile from a Chrome device (this is a very common first step to troubleshooting several issues):


  1. Log out it you are already logged in to get to the sign in screen on the device
  2. Once you are on the sign in screen on the device, find the profile you want to remove. If troubleshooting an issue with extensions like GoGuardian or Securly, we suggest removing all Chrome profiles from a device
  3. Once the profile has been found, click the drop down arrow next to the profile
  4. Click the "Remove this user" button on the drop down menu
  5. Sign back into your account and verify if the issue is still happening
