If any of you are experiencing the following message when opening your Google Drive please follow the instructions below:
The drive or network connection that the shortcut 'Google Drive.lnk' refers to is unavailable. Make sure that the disk is properly inserted or the network resource is available, and then try again.
This message pops up because the newest version of Google Drive occasionally doesn't automatically start once it updates itself.
If you have this issue perform the following actions to start your Google Drive:
- Click the Windows logo in the bottom left hand of your computer screen
- Type "Google Drive" once the menu is open
- Click the "Google Drive" option from the search
- Your Google Drive shortcut on your desktop/file explorer should now work
If the shortcut on your desktop still has a question mark on it, you can ignore it. The shortcut will still open up your drive properly.
