How to change your Windows/Google Password for your Claymont account

Follow these instructions on how to reset your password for your school account depending on which type of user account you have:


  • Students: You are unable to change your password that you are provided to you unless under certain situations. If you believe others are trying to get into your account or your password has been exposed, please open a ticket by emailing techsupport@claymontschools.org and describing your issue.

  • Staff: You are able to reset your password using our self-service password reset portal posted in our "Staff Resources" section of the Claymont website. Alternatively, you can follow the instructions below.
    • First, follow this link to register for our self-service password reset portal by following the directions on screen (Note: you will need to have your current email, password, and a two-factor method to register)

    • Next, follow this link to access our self-service password reset portal. You will be asked to input your email and verify your identity using the two-factor method you set up when registering (either your cell or a personal email). Once verified, you should be able to reset your password using the tool. This will reset both your account you use to sign into your Windows desktop and your Google email
