How to take a screenshot

To take a screenshot, follow the instructions below depending on what OS you are running.


Windows:

  1. Find the content that you want to take a screenshot of
  2. Press the "Print Screen' button on your keyboard (located to the right of the backspace button). This will take an image of the entire screen that your mouse was on
  3. Now, you can directly paste your image into a document or input fields that support images. 
  4. Alternatively, you can open the "Paint" program on your computer by searching for it in your Windows menu and pressing CTRL+V to paste the image into the program
    1. From there, you can manipulate your image, crop it, and include notations

ChromeOS:

  1. Find the content that you want to take a screenshot of
  2. Press Shift + Ctrl + the Show windows button
  3. Your screen will go gray. Select the part of your screen that you would like to include in the screenshot
  4. Your screenshot should be sent to your downloads folder where you can then attach it to whatever you need to
