Follow the instructions below to remove your Chrome profile from your browser. After, you can re-add your profile to sync your bookmarks, history, and passwords back.

Important: After you remove a profile from Chrome, the profile's bookmarks, history, passwords, and other settings are erased from the computer.

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click Profile Profile.
  3. Next to "Other Profiles," select Manage profiles Manage people.
  4. Point to the profile you want to remove.
  5. At the top right of the profile, click More More and then Delete.
  6. To confirm, click Delete.

Once your profile is removed, you should be good to re-add your account. Keep in mind the browser may display a pop-up to have you link your data. You need to do this in order for all your bookmarks, passwords, etc. to sync over.
