How to locate and use the Google Chrome password manager

Often times, you may accidentally save an incorrect password or need to change a password that you have saved within Google Chrome. Follow the instructions below to learn how to access the password manager and to change a saved password:


  1. Open Google Chrome and ensure you are signed into the browser
  2. Click the three dots in the top-right of the Google Chrome window
  3. Hover over "Passwords and autofill"
  4. Click the "Google Password Manager" button in the menu
  5. From this screen, you can add new passwords using the "Add" button
  6. You can also edit existing passwords for sites and delete them by clicking on the three dots to the right of a saved password
