To clear your browser's cache within Google Chrome, follow the instructions below. Doing so is the first step in troubleshooting various issues with websites.
NOTE: clearing your browser's cache will log you out of sites. It will also wipe your browsing history
- Open Google Chrome and ensure you are signed into the browser
- Click the three dots in the top-right of the Google Chrome window
- Click the "Settings" option in the drop-down menu
- On the settings page, click the "Privacy and Security" tab on the left and then click on "Clear browsing data" in the middle of the screen
- Change the "Time range" dropdown to "All time"
- Make sure you have the browsing history, cookies and other site data, and cached images and files checkboxes all checked
- Click on the blue "Clear data" button at the bottom of the dialog box
- Refresh your webpage that is causing you issues. If it was a caching issue, your issue should be resolved
